Code of Ethics for Board Members
Goal:
To establish a set of principles and practices of the New England Pet
Partners of N.H., Inc. Board of Directors that will set parameters and
provide guidance and direction for board conduct and decision-making.
Code:
Members of the Board of Directors of the New England Pet Partners of N.H.,
Inc. are committed to observing and promoting the highest standards of
integrity and ethical conduct in the performance of their responsibilities
on the board of New England Pet Partners of N.H., Inc. Board members agree
to accept this code as a minimum guideline for ethical conduct and shall:
Accountability

Perform duties commensurate with your
position and training.

Abide by the professional ethics of your
respective professions and organizations.

Exercise reasonable care, integrity, good
business ethics and due diligence in organizational affairs.

and issues relating to pet-assisted activities and therapy.

Comply with local, state and federal laws
and New England Pet Partners of N.H., Inc. policies governing pet-assisted
activities and pet-assisted therapy.

Fully disclose, at the earliest
opportunity, information that may result in a perceived actual conflict of
interest.

Fully disclose, at the earliest
opportunity, information of fact that would have significance in board
decision-making.

Maintain a professional level of courtesy,
respect, and objectivity in all New England Pet Partners of N.H., Inc.
activities.

Strive to uphold those practices and
assist other members of the board in upholding the highest standards of
conduct.
